But I can’t! My beginning must have been very dramatic, going from a dark warm place were all my needs were met, to a suddenly very bright world that was cold and noise. You think if life is really going in one direction only you would remember something like that! But I don’t.

Maybe it’s just that this memory was so far away. My little brain doesn’t remember, or maybe it was too painful and my mind has blocked it out? Or just maybe we are not completely moving in one direction but many directions at once. Our atomic corpus is aging and moving in a linear direction towards decay! But what about my soul, Is my soul confined to this limitation? If my soul is eternal then it is not bound by physics. My thoughts, my person are the sum of my parts, where my soul currently lives and appears to be trap in my atomic nature. But why assume that. My soul will go on so why is it linear?

Our souls I believe are not confined to one time space continuum. It floats between moments. Our memories are limited by the nature of how our brain works but also by the fact that our souls are not linear, our souls live in the here and now, the moment. It only appears to be moving with our bodies in one direction.

Just some soul for thought.

Garret

Soul Food

Welcome to “Tofu and our Blog “Breakfast at Epiphany's.”

“Tofu

to·fu n
a soft food with no particular flavor made from
coagulated soybean extract pressed into a cake”

This describes the content of this site, thoughts from three individuals and their ramblings about their spiritual journey. Soft talk that has coagulated in our minds, things that we need to express before they become pressed into a cake in our heads.

Most of these thoughts spring to life in that state we find ourselves in before we have had any substance.
